A couple of reasons i enjoyed this book are because it focuses on some issues dealing with elementry school and friendships. Friendships is a theme of the book because the narrator quite often mentions things having to do with friendships and/or other relationships. While reading this book i noticed various changes in some of Hanks relationships. In some parts he didn't really know where to go or what to do.

I think this book is great for both genders.Because it deals with issues regarding both boys and girls. It's also a book i would have wished for when i was in elementry school. It would have probaly been a good guide to issues regardind school, friends, and family.

A couple of times throughout the book you may wonder whats going on or think it's boring. Overall its very intriguing and interesting. Hanks friend Frankie becomes his peer role model and someone Hank overall looked up to and sometimes envy.

Frankie thinks that Hank is great and cool and a great friend even though Hank can  sometimes mess stuff up with his clumsy ways and beings. Hank on the other hand looks up to Frankie and wants to be so much like Frankie in acedemic situations. Hank sometimes becomes jelous of how well he thinks Frankie does with every thing.

Hank faces a huge problem when he takes apart the TV cable box and leaves it in his room. Who would think that his sisters iguana would lay eggs in the ruins of a cable box.
